The Cisco CCIE Certification is the premier networking certification in the industry. In order to attain CCIE certification, the candidate must pass two exams; a written exam and a hands-on laboratory exam. The written “pre-qualification” exam must be completed prior to the candidate registering to take the CCIE lab exam.

The CCIE Routing & Switching (CCIE R&S) certification serves as recognition for a candidate’s mastery of Cisco’s routing and switching technologies.

Passing the lab exam requires a great deal of real-world experience and hands-on preparation with mock labs and simulated scenarios.

In order to take the CCIE R&S lab exam, the candidate must first take and successfully pass the rigorous CCIE R&S written pre-qualification exam.
